Its foliage is a deep, glossy green with prominent white to silvery veins, giving it a dramatic architectural presence. The plant grows upright from a central rhizome and produces pendulous leaves that can reach 1.5–2 meters in ideal conditions, although the ‘Narrow’ cultivar tends to be more elegant and compact.
