Hoya ‘Noona’ has small, thick, elliptical leaves that are a rich green colour. Under good light, the foliage may take on subtle reddish or bronze tones. It has a compact, scrambling/ vining habit, making it great for a hanging basket or a small trellis. When it flowers, you’ll get clusters of pale yellow, cup- or star-shaped blooms that give off a spicy‑floral scent.
Light
Gives its best in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate a little gentle morning or evening sun, but avoid strong, constant direct sunlight.
Watering
Allow the soil to almost completely dry out between waterings — overwatering is a common issue. When you water, water thoroughly and let the water drain well.
Humidity & Temperature
• Prefers moderate to high humidity — around 50‑70% is ideal.
• Likes warm temperatures: about 18°C to 29°C
Soil
Use a light, well-aerated potting mix — something like orchid bark + perlite + coco coir or peat works well to mimic its natural epiphytic conditions.
Fertiliser
Feed in the growing season (spring/summer) using a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser — about every 4–6 weeks is a good guideline.
