Hoya stoneana is a graceful, vining epiphytic wax plant with long, narrow, lance-shaped succulent leaves. The foliage is a rich, deep green and stores water in its thick leaves, giving the plant a drought‑tolerant edge. When mature, it produces clusters of star-shaped flowers — these are typically creamy white with delicate centers, offering a subtle but elegant bloom.
Originating from the Philippines, this species is popular among collectors for its refined leaves and architectural growth habit.

Care Guide
Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal. A bit of gentle morning or late afternoon sun can encourage flowering, but avoid prolonged harsh midday rays.
Water:
Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Because of its semi-succulent leaves, overwatering is a major risk — soak the soil thoroughly, and then empty any excess water so roots don’t sit in moisture.
Humidity:
Prefers moderate to high humidity. Aim for at least 40% humidity, though more is better. You can boost it with a humidifier, pebble tray, or by grouping the plant with other humidity-loving species.
Temperature:
Best kept in a warm environment: around 18–24 °C is ideal. It can tolerate a wider range ,but avoid cold drafts or sudden drops.
Soil:
Use an airy, well-draining mix — a blend of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir (or a similar medium) works really well to mimic its natural epiphytic habitat.
Feeding:
Feed during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser diluted to about half strength. Every 3–4 weeks is a good rhythm.
