Hoya ‘Tequila Sunrise’ is a hybrid wax plant prized for its thick, glossy leaves with prominent veins and random silver flecks. Under strong, bright light (or mild sun-stress), its foliage can blush through rich tones of red, orange, and copper — giving that “sunrise” effect. Its growth habit is vining or twining, making it great for hanging baskets or climbing supports. When it flowers, you get clusters of star‑shaped, cream flowers with red-tipped corollas and a gentle citrus scent. 
 
Care Guide:
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Some filtered direct morning or evening sun will enhance leaf coloration. 
• Water: Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot. 
• Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity, but adapts reasonably well to average indoor levels. 
• Temperature: Ideal range is around 18–27 °C Avoid cold drafts. 
• Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix – something like orchid bark + perlite + coco coir or peat works really well. 
• Feeding: During the growing season, use a diluted balanced or low-nitrogen fertilizer monthly.
