Sansevieria Cleopatra snake plant rare succulent houseplant in pot

Sansevieria Cleopatra

Rating is 5.0 out of five stars based on 1 review

Sansevieria ‘Cleopatra’ is a striking, low-maintenance plant prized for its tall, upright leaves with bold variegation. Its leaves are slightly wider and longer than standard Sansevierias, with a dark green base color accented by light green horizontal stripes and subtle creamy margins. The plant forms a dense rosette of architectural leaves, making it an excellent sculptural statement for interiors.

Light:

  • Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining strong variegation.

  • Tolerates moderate light; low light may reduce color contrast.

  • Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can scorch leaves.

Watering:

  • Drought-tolerant.

  • Allow soil to dry completely between waterings.

  • Overwatering is the most common cause of leaf rot.

Soil:

  • Well-draining succulent/cactus mix.

  • Ensure pot has drainage holes.

Temperature:

  • Prefers 18–27 °C

  • Protect from temperatures below 10 °C

Humidity:

  • Tolerates normal indoor humidity; does not require high humidity.
