Alocasia ‘Poly’ Variegata is a variegated form of the popular Alocasia ‘Polly/Poly’, prized for its dramatic leaf shape and contrasting creamy-white variegation.
Compact, upright rhizomatous plant.
Typically 40–60 cm tall.
Grows in clumps from thick underground corms.
Arrowhead to shield-shaped with deeply scalloped margins.
Glossy, dark green to almost black-green.
Irregular creamy-white patches, streaks, splashes, or half-moon segments.
Prominent white to silvery veins enhance contrast.
Variegation varies greatly—more white often means slower growth.
Bright, indirect light is ideal.
Variegated forms need more light than green forms but cannot tolerate harsh sun.
Avoid low light → causes fading variegation and leaf loss.
Keep soil slightly moist, not wet.
Let top 2–3 cm dry out before watering again
Prefers 60–80% humidity.
Benefits from humidifiers, pebble trays, or grouping with other plants.

40% high-quality potting soil
